Centurion

The Centurion features a grip almost identical to what is found on the Revelation, vertical and very close proximity to the trigger. The forearm has a full 2.6” flat on the bottom to allow for a large amount of bag contact during positional shooting. The Centurion retains the same cheek piece, KMW ACP Hardware and 11.25” modified Anschutz rail as our other stocks. Weight is 5lb 11 oz. Gideon Hybrid Hunting Stock

Thank you for taking a look at our Gideon stock from our Hybrid line of Foundation Hunting stocks!

Please note that the purpose for choosing the action inlet is so that we can inlet the correct critical seating surface for your specific action. Not all Remington 700 clones are the same action diameter. Knowing specifically which action you will be using allows us to cut the most exacting inlet possible. Ejection port, bolt handle and bolt stop will be an “open” 700 feature set to allow fitment flexibility with like-diameter actions.

Why a Hybrid?

Carbon fiber provides the stock high elastic modulus and high bending strength while the Kevlar/aramid supplies excellent torsion and dampening performance and assures high impact strength. The hybridization of the two materials together results in significantly higher energy absorption than carbon fiber or Kevlar individually. Using this in conjunction with our micarta material has given us an extremely stiff, impact resistant stock with unique dampening characteristics. When you shoot it, you know it’s a Foundation – “it just feels dead.”

Combined with your action, barrel, scope, and other accessories, your setup could weigh between 25-30 lbs.

This modularity can be achieved without removing your barreled action from the chassis system. Internal forend weights can be inserted at the front and screwed in place, while external weights, compatible with M-LOK, can be easily attached to either side of the forend. This allows shooters to quickly adjust the feel and recoil of their system, even while at the range.

Each XRS Chassis is constructed from a full-length CNC machined core of 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, covered with high-strength textured polymer panels for insulation from the elements.
