Machined from pre-hardened chromoly steel for outstanding toughness, the Bison features a Remington 700-style footprint for broad compatibility with stocks, chassis, and triggers.

• Floating and interchangeable bolt head (.223, .308/standard, Magnum, or PPC/Valkyrie faces available)
• Controlled round feed with enclosed mechanical ejector
• Bayonet-style firing pin assembly
• Spiral-fluted bolt body (black nitride finish) with DLC-coated bolt head for smooth, corrosion-resistant operation
• Pinned recoil lug and Savage small-shank thread tenon (1-1/16″-20 TPI) for easy prefit barrel installation
